Art E Q is the website for the personal and original art of Quentin Hutchinson, ex professional Field Archaeologist, and long term full time carer for his elderly parents (dad aged 101 in 2023).
He was motivated to take up painting when gifted a set of paints by his team mates when leaving Birmingham University Field Archaeology Unit in 1991 and is self taught.
Currently he prefers working in acrylics, but has created artworks in most other mediums.
He currently lives in Seahouses, Northumberland and has a BTEC HND in Archaeological illustration.
Artwork is loaded with the oldest paintings at the top of the page and the most recent at the  bottom.
